East Attic of the Asia Library at the University of Michigan

Because of Mei Lanfang (one of my research topics), I've got the chance to visit the Asia Library (one of the biggest Asia Library Systems in north America) of the University of Michigan. Not Only I checked out a lot of precious resources and materials about traditional Chinese Opera, but I had the wonderful experience to explore the oldest attic of the library and to stay there doing some works. Let me be honest, however, I just felt uneasy while I was standing between the shelves. It's a rather creepy place, actually.
